I designed folding zines for Breaks & Joins, a participatory community art project that explores the repair of objects, ourselves, and our communities.
We engage in creative conversations through workshops, interviews, and training sessions, producing artworks that celebrate and interrogate repair as a radical act.
During my time with the team, I facilitated the workshops and created folding zines featuring messages and images collected from our events. These zines were distributed as both documentation of the events and souvenirs for participants.

Though compact and pocket-sized, the zines unfold into A3-sized posters showcasing highlights from the workshops.

The zines led us to collaborations with other community venues, where I created versions that could be folded into stand-up albums showcasing our events.
